NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
1. Official Rules
The KRAK Metallica Flyaway (the “Promotion”) is conducted by Ohana Media Group on behalf of Rock 102.1 KRAK (“KRAK”). By entering, each participant agrees to these Official Contest Rules and to the decisions of KRAK, which are final in all matters relating to the Promotion. The Promotion begins at 12:00:01 a.m. Alaska Time on July 13, 2026 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. Alaska Time on September 25, 2026.
2. Eligibility
Open only to legal residents of the State of Alaska who are 21 years of age or older at the time of entry. Entrants must possess valid government-issued photo identification and be legally eligible to travel within the United States. Employees of Ohana Media Group, Rock 102.1 KRAK, participating sponsors, prize providers, advertising agencies, promotional partners, and members of their immediate households are not eligible. KRAK reserves the right to verify eligibility and disqualify any entrant submitting false, incomplete, duplicate, or fraudulent information.
3. How to Enter
Eligible listeners may enter online at Rock1021.com or by scanning official QR codes displayed at participating sponsor locations, including participating Three Bears Liquor locations, participating QDOBA locations, The Peanut Farm, and any additional sponsor locations announced by KRAK. One (1) online entry per person/email address per calendar day is permitted regardless of entry method. Twenty-two (22) finalists will qualify through on-air promotions. Eighty (80) finalists will be selected through periodic random drawings from eligible online entries. Submitting an entry does not make an entrant a finalist.
4. Finalist Selection and Notification
KRAK will select a total of 102 finalists. Potential finalists will be contacted by telephone, email, or both using the information provided at entry. Finalists must respond within 24 hours or may forfeit their finalist position. Each person may qualify only once. Alternate finalists may be selected if necessary.
5. Grand Prize Finale
The Grand Prize Finale will be held Wednesday, September 30, 2026 at The Peanut Farm in Anchorage, Alaska. Check-in begins at 6:00 p.m. Alaska Time and closes promptly at 7:15 p.m. Alaska Time. All finalists must personally check in, present valid photo identification, and complete any required documentation. Finalists must be present to win. One (1) Grand Prize winner will be selected by random drawing from all eligible checked-in finalists. Finalist status is non-transferable. KRAK reserves the right to verify the identity of any finalist or winner before awarding the prize.
6. Prize Package
One verified winner and one eligible guest will receive two (2) tickets to see Metallica at Sphere Las Vegas, round-trip coach airfare from Anchorage, Alaska, one standard hotel room for two (2) nights, and travel currently anticipated October 30 through November 2, 2026. Approximate Retail Value (ARV): $5,000. KRAK will select and book all travel arrangements. The guest must be 21 years of age or older and travel on the same itinerary. The prize excludes meals, beverages, baggage fees, parking, ground transportation, incidental hotel charges, travel insurance, and any expenses not specifically listed. The prize is non-transferable, has no cash value, and may not be substituted by the winner. KRAK may substitute any portion of the prize with one of equal or greater value if circumstances require.
7. General Conditions
KRAK reserves the right to disqualify entrants for fraud, tampering, automated entries, false information, or violation of these rules. KRAK is not responsible for technical failures, website outages, QR code failures, email issues, or communication problems. If circumstances beyond KRAK’s control—including severe weather, travel disruptions, venue closures, artist cancellation or postponement, or other force majeure events—affect the Promotion, KRAK may modify, postpone, suspend, substitute, or cancel the Promotion. Winners are responsible for all applicable taxes and required tax forms. By accepting a prize, the winner and guest grant KRAK permission to use their names, likenesses, photographs, audio, video, and statements for promotional purposes without additional compensation where permitted by law. Consumption of alcohol is not part of the prize. Winners and guests must comply with all applicable laws and venue rules. The official timekeeping device for the Promotion is KRAK’s contest administration system. KRAK reserves the right to correct typographical or administrative errors. If any provision of these rules is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
